Winter sports tryouts begin Saturday November 11, 2017. You must be cleared and registered to tryout.
Clearance: Paper packet from office. Registered: Registermyathlete.com.
Clearance for winter sports (basketball, wrestling, skiing) is October 17th and 18th from 2:30-4:30 in the main yellow hall. If you did not clear for a fall sport this school year please pick up your packet from the main office and please also register online at registermyathlete.com. Both parts are mandatory.

Reed athletics is proud to announce Evan Brown as our new Head Boy's Tennis Coach. Evan is a Sparks resident, however, born and raised in New York. He brings with him 25+ years of tennis experience. Evan was fortunate to grow up attending the U.S. Open, was a successful college tennis player (player of the year as a freshman), and now is a full-time tennis professional for the City of Sparks. We look forward to Evan continuing to build a successful boy's tennis program here at Reed HS. Welcome Evan. We are very glad to have you on board!!

Congratulations to our Unified Sports basketball team's.
In our 2nd Annual Reed vs. Raiders game the Reed team came out on top 25-18 in front of a packed house! Point guard Jaylin Reaves led the Reed team with 13 points (3 for 5 from three). Carson Apostolico led the Raider team with 9 points (1 for 2 from three). Congratulations to all of the players who played in this year's game. Raider Nation had an amazing time watching the game.

Boys Golf: Tuesday 2/28/17. 3:30pm at Hidden Valley Country Club.

Izzy Casarez (wrestling) caps his career with 4 regional championships and back to back state championships. Raider Nation is proud of he and Coach Klapp! Izzy Casarez will go down as one of the best wrestlers in Nevada state history.
Congratulations to Tim Eubanks for finishing fourth at state in his weight class. These two outstanding young men have done a great job leading our wrestling program.

Reed Athletics would like to welcome two new members to our blue and gold family. Head Coach Ward Sutton will lead our boy's golf team and Head Coach Paula Edmonds will lead our cheer program. We are very lucky to have these two join our Raider team!

Anthony Ocegueda broke the UNR Twilight course record this past Friday night. The record was from 2011 and he smashed it by 5 seconds - he ran a 12:44 for the 2.5 course.
Congratulations Anthony. Way to go Coach Stevens!
Anthony and Samantha King-Shaw won the senior class races (boys and girls divisions) at the Douglas Class Race on 8/26- they are both on fire!
